The thermostatic control with thermal feedback protects the unit from overheating.The thermostat is positioned over the the durable stainless steel heating elemenet, which ensures safety in low-water conditions. The float is completely enclosed in a rugged, plastic housing and will not sink over time. The galvanized guard is specially designed to protect rubber, plastic or structural-foam tanks.
