Unit comes with the 3/8" compression type male fitting similar to some original installed by Miele valve. Please check your original connector, if it is different please let us know and we will include connecting adapter before shipping out.
Most of Miele dishwasher intake/drain flashing light indicate on issue with water inlet valve not operational. Dishwasher not filling water. In these situations after first 30 seconds of starting a cycle dishwasher energizes water inlet valve. If bare humming sound heard or buzzing felt in the gray plastic valve box under the sink and no water appears in 90-95% valve hose is malfunctioning. Make sure it diagnosed before ordering a new valve.
