Billy Joel
is an American pianist and singer-songwriter, who according to the RIAA, is the sixth best-selling recording artist in the United States.  He had Top 10 hits in the '70s, '80s and '90s.  He is a six-time Grammy Award winner and has sold in excess of 150 million albums worldwide.  He was inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame (1992), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1999) and the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (2006).
You are viewing an extremely rare original limited edition graphic art lithograph created by Brad Holland, a major figure in contemporary American illustration, for the promotion of  Billy Joel's 1986 studio album "The Bridge", which successfully sold over 2 million copies and spawned the Top 40 hits "A Matter of Trust", "This is the Time", "Modern Woman", as well as "Big Man on Mulberry Street" which was used as the basis for an episode of the Bruce Willis/Cybill Shepherd television series Moonlighting.  Ray Charles contributed vocals and piano in the song "Baby Grand" and Steve Winwood played Hammond organ in the song "Geting Closer".  The final song "Code of Silence" received contributing backing vocals from Cyndi Lauper.
This authentic "first-run" color graphic art lithograph was printed from the original plates in 1986 on the highest quality paper. The piece has never been matted, framed, hung nor displayed, but has been properly stored, undisturbed, since creation.
