TODAY THIS CUTE PATRIOTIC VINTAGE 1970's/1980's DESK FLAG SET THAT WAS WITH SOME BOY SCOUT ITEMS LEFT IN OUR CITIES GRANGE BUILDING. THEY USE TO HAVE BOTH BOY SCOUT & GIRL SCOUT MEETINGS IN THIS OLD BUILDING. THE ORGANIZATION HAS CLOSED-UP & THIS WAS FOUND IN THE BUILDING. THIS FLAG SET CONSISTS OF NINE VARIOUS SMALL FLAGS AND COMES WITH A BLACK ROUND WOOD BASE FOR A STAND. THE HOLES ARE DRILLED INTO THE WOOD. EACH FLAG IS APPROX. 6" WIDE BY 4" LONG. THE DOWELS ARE 10 1/2" LONG COUNTING THE GOLDEN POINTED CAP ON THE TOP. EACH FLAG IS STAPLED INTO THE SMALL DOWEL. IT HAS ONE HOLE IN THE VERY CENTER & I GUESS YOU CAN PUT WHATEVER FLAG YOU WANT INTO THAT HOLE?

The Betsy Ross flag is an early design of the flag of the United States, named for early American upholsterer and flag maker Betsy Ross. The pattern of the Betsy Ross flag is 13 alternating red-and-white stripes with stars in a field of blue in the upper left corner canton. Its distinguishing feature is thirteen 5-pointed stars arranged in a circle representing the 13 colonies that fought for their independence during the American Revolutionary War.
