Vintage Michael Jackson Monogram Sunglasses - White Retractable Shades - Taiwan

Michael Jackson Monogram Sunglasses.
Note: I am not the original owner, so I do not know the full story behind these. I will describe everything I see in great detail so you can make up your own mind. According to my research these were released in 1988. I asked an online seller that specializes in Michael Jackson memorabilia to authenticate it and in his opinion these are legit. He is the same seller that has the only other listing currently on eBay so take that for what you will.
Listing comes with:
- White and Black case with red "Michael Jackson" printed signature on the front and Monogram stamp on the back.
- White frame Sunglasses/Shades with retractable ear pieces. "Michael Jackson™" printed signature on the right ear piece. Made in Taiwan and UV400 stickers on the right lens. Underside of the frame says Monogram, US patent 4560258, 4776686, and Other Foreign Patent Pending.
- Instructions on how to use retractable side frames.
- Black eyeglass rope in a sealed bag. Bag says "Made in Hong Kong"
- Foam block for protection.
Condition Notes: There are some small scratches/scuffs on the outer case and there is a noticeable scratch on the right lens, which is about half an inch long. I can not get it to show up in the photographs. It wasn't distracting to me when I tried on the sunglasses, but everyone has their own threshold. See photos and please ask questions to make up your own mind. I don't want anyone to be disappointed or feel misled.
Domestic shipping will be via USPS with tracking and insurance. If item sells for over 0 - signature on delivery will be required. International shipping is via eBay's Global Shipping Program.
